Health Information Solutions

Outcomes strives to support the strengthening of health information systems based on an explicit analysis of the needs of information. We contribute to the strengthening of monitoring and evaluation functions and their integration into the managerial process through the implementation of effective information systems. We bring together the efforts of partners in the field of health indicators measurement and use health data management in evaluation of health information systems.

Health Economics & Outcomes Research

Our mission is to support the pharmaceutical industry’s contribution to the ‘value for healthcare’ by providing the link to the various stakeholders. We help pharmaceutical companies build evidence-based metrics on a globally consistent basis in the Health Economics and Outcomes Research space and be the preferred advisor and partner for intelligent solutions

Our expertise are in the quantitative health services, and the research generally focuses on examining issues related to effectiveness of medical care delivery (especially pharmaceuticals) and health outcomes / pharmacoeconomic evaluation in chronic disease. Our research work in this context has examined diverse topics related to economic evaluation of pharmaceuticals, risk adjustment of health outcomes, quality of primary care, medication and patient safety, applied statistical methodology in health services evaluation, and patient-centered outcomes evaluation (specifically focused on patient trust, satisfaction, and medication adherence behavior).

In particular, we have a very strong disease-specific research interest in outcomes evaluation in chronic diseases, and study of economic outcomes related to controller pharmacotherapy (especially diabetes, psoriasis, and asthma). Other interests are research in Retrospective data analysis focusing Medication Compliance issues.

Our Multi-disciplinary Team of Highly Qualified scientific staff is formally trained and experienced in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, decision analysis, epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy and clinical pharmacy. Moreover, our researchers have worked in virtually every therapeutic area because our scientists are widely published in peer reviewed journals; clients are assured that target audiences will receive key value messages.

Our scientific staff has published hundreds of research articles in high profile journals such as Medical Care, Health Services Research, Health Affairs, Lancet, and Journal of the American College of Surgeons and has co-authored what many consider the definitive text on health services research evaluation published by Academy Health / Health Administration Press. They also serve on the editorial board of journals such as Clinical Therapeutics and The American Journal of Managed Care. They have led and participated in several research projects in the area of health outcomes, pharmacoeconomic evaluation and pharmaceutical health services research. Their research has attracted millions in funding over the past few years from federal and private funding agencies, and has several pending grants with the NIH. They have won the best presentation award at International Society of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research Annual International meetings.

Scientific Programming

Scientific Programming provides a meeting ground for research results in, and practical experience with, software engineering environments, tools, languages, and models of computation aimed specifically at supporting scientific and engineering computing.

At Outcomes, we have the people, technology and deep networks of local candidates to help you create public databases, conduct research in computational biology, develop software tools for analyzing genome data, and disseminate biomedical information - all for the better understanding of molecular processes affecting human health and disease.
